Correct Method Of Approving Flash Comments In Myspace
January 19, 2007 11:24 am Comments, FAQs, GeneralIf someone sends you a flash comment in myspace, it has to be approved before it can appear on your myspace page. All flash comments have to be approved in myspace. This is a feature which myspace.com has introduced so we cannot do anything about that. The flash comments on www.wishafriend.com are totally safe and you need not worry. It is a security measure that myspace has taken as a precaution to protect the members from people with bad intentions.
Flash comments do get denied unknowingly/accidentally by the recipients.
For example, when you send someone a flash comment. He/She will receive a message in the inbox. In the message, there will be three options
a. A check box with the word ‘deny.
b. A link to view the comment.
c. A submit button.
The trouble is: myspace has given default option as ‘deny’. So when users unknowingly press submit button, the flash comment disappears or get denied.
The correct method is ‘b’. The recipient must click the link to view the comment. A new page will open with the flash comment. There will be 2 options below it. To approve or to deny. Here, when the recipient approves the comment, it will appear on his profile in the comments section.
The problem of comments disappearing or getting denied is often faced by new users of flash comments. But you shouldn’t have any issues if you do it once. Do Inform all your friends about this too. Just pass on the URL of this blog post to all your myspace friends.
Best Regards,
WAF
