Halloween gives you a chance to experiment with your food recipes and gives you a free pass to make your food items look as gross as possible. If the theme of the party is related to aliens or creatures from outer space then it is the perfect time to serve Alien Babies in Blood to all guests arriving at the party in alien costumes. This starter is made from sweet potatoes with a creamy filling which will set pace to the Halloween party. It can be served with normal blood-like tomato sauce or with the more freaky looking cranberry sauce to scare the guests.
Witches Potion:
If the guests feel thirsty and ask for something to drink then the Witches Potion is the best drink to welcome them with. It's a non-alcoholic punch that looks like a witch's potion. It will look gorier if it is decorated with plastic eyeballs and plastic spiders hanging around the bowl. Serve them in small cauldrons. To add some more of the Halloween effect to the drink, add vanilla ice cream scoops and for a better taste. To make it alcoholic, you can add Vodka to the punch that is essentially orange flavored. This drink can be served to kids but without the alcohol content.

With plastic brain shaped moulds available in the stores, one can use them to prepare jelly and custard that can be served with strawberry or cranberry syrups. The brain shaped custard with cranberry sauce will look appalling but will taste absolutely delicious once it's eaten.

Cakes are the prime attractions of guests in every party and for the Halloween party a simple cake can be shaped into graveyards, spiders, skulls, pumpkins and zombies. Proper arrangement of decorating and apt food color will make your cake look like the scariest creature on the planet and at the same time the guests will enjoy your delicious cakes.
