Good Friday Prayers

Jesus Christ, your love for me is ever forgiving. When I am really angry with those around me, I find it very difficult to forgive and let go. I fail to understand that when you my Lord and my Master, who is a reflection of perfection, could forgive me a thousand times for my mistakes, who am I, a sinner, to hold grudges against my brothers and sisters. When your people came to you with the woman who committed adultery, you said "Whoever is without sin among you, let him be the first to cast a stone at her." This is such a beautiful lesson to us, that we always find fault so easily in others, but don't tend to notice the faults in ourselves. None of us are perfect, yet we strive for perfection in others. I thereby ask this grace from you dear Jesus that I learn to accept more than expect and learn to love more than criticize. I say this prayer in the name of the God Almighty and the Holy Spirit. Amen.

Dear Lord, I want to take a minute from my chaotic lifestyle and busy schedule not to ask you anything, but to thank you for all that I have. Thank you for my family and my friends, those who love me and would do anything for me. Thank you for those who hurt me, because it has only made me stronger and wiser. Thank you for the shelter that I live under. Thank you for the food that satisfies me. Thank you for the water that quiches my thirst. Thank you for the moments that make me smile, they make my life worth living. Thank you most of all thank you for this life, because it is beautiful in every way. Thank you for giving me a chance to live so many years of this life.

O God who made heaven and earth, it is not difficult for you to destroy the sinners who caused so much of pain to you, their creator. Yet instead of punishing them, you loved them. Yet instead of rebuking them, you forgave them. They crucified your dear son, yet all you did was loved them even more. God, teach me to be more like you so that I too may carry on with your word of love and truth to all I meet. May no person come to me feeling closer to you that they did before they met me. I need your light to shine through me to all my brothers and sisters around me. May I learn to love even my enemies, and may I learn to give another chance to others who have wronged me. Just the way your love never falls out of chances for me no matter how many mistakes I make, may my love for you make me see you in all those I meet. Praise you Lord, thank you Lord. I say this prayer in the name of my sweet Jesus, Amen.

Your sacrifice should be remembered
For your are the messenger of peace
You showed us the meaning of love
In your mercy, things will thy cease
Oh holy Lord on this day
I want to bow in front of you
To thank you for everything you gave
To thank you for this wonderful life
Oh holy Lord may I pray
That everyone stay in your mercy
As you are the kind

On this holy day of Good Friday

This Good Friday, your love has made me understand how Fortunate I am to have a Hero, who didn't blink an eye-lid before choosing His own suffering and death over, me losing my soul. He died only so that I can have a better life. I want to tell you God, how grateful I am to you and your dear Son. Dear Mother Mary, it would have been so painful to witness the brutal torture of your dear Son when he was innocent. I want to thank you for bringing my dear Lord into this world. Amen.

Take a moment and close your eyes
The blessed Lord will stay along
Take a moment in the guiding light
He is the one who will be there
His sacrifice has remained immortal
In the hearts of the human kind
He will bless everyone
With his mercy and his love this day

The Holy Spirit and your mercy
Saved the world with all the sins
You gave your life for the sake

It is the period of Lent
I want to experience everything
That my mighty Lord had experienced
I want to learn from the sacrifices
That he made to redeem the love
He gave his all for the sins that perished
Oh Lord I want to spread the message of
Love and longing just like you
Show me your mercy thy Lord
So that I walk along in your
Path of enlightenment
As it's the Good Friday
I pray that all stay blessed in life!

I want to remember the agony and pain
That you took oh mighty Lord
You took it all in your stride
The way you sacrificed
Teaching lessons of love and peace
I pray that this mercy remains
And all the sins get ceased this day
Your kind mercy will stay along
Will make every person strong
Bless everyone oh mighty kind

Dear God, grant me the strength to accept what I cannot change; to smile even when in pain and to see the best in others always. Teach me Lord, to live with a clean heart free from hatred and anger, so that I too may see love in others just the way you see love in me. Grant me the grace to keep my heart ever loving and ever forgiving. May I always be faithful to your word, and strong enough to resist the evil seductions of this world. This prayer I make dear God, with true faith in you. I know that with your help I can conquer all my fears. Praise you Lord.

On this blessed and holy day
I wish that you bless each soul
With your enlightenment and your light
With your guiding light
With your mercy and your love
Life will get all right
