On this holy day of Good Friday

God Jesus, you know the problems I am facing. You understand my weaknesses much more than even I do. This cross I am facing is too much to bear for my weak shoulders. I find myself feeling extremely lonely and stressed out. I need your help Jesus Christ. Just the way you carried your cross of burden, please grant me the strength to face this difficult time with grace. You said, ask and you will receive, seek and you will find. I need you Lord, and I believe that you will be there. Amen.

This day Almighty,
Give us the peace and endurance in heart
To overcome all the sufferings of life
To have that will to strive
As we remember your love for us
On this holy day!

You took the form of slave
To save the human race
I bow in front of you
For you had that grace
To make the world a better place
Bless us this Good Friday!

Sweet Mother Mary, nothing can be more painful than a mother witnessing the brutal torture and murder of her dear son, who has done nothing but only good. You bore the suffering and agony that no mother should ever experience. Still you love us, sinners, so much. Yet your love for us is ever forgiving and ever giving. I want to tell you that I am ever grateful to Jesus Christ for giving me a mother like you to venerate. I never find myself alone in any circumstance because I always know that you are always watching my back and protecting me. Praise you dear mother.

I am fasting this day thy Lord
As I pray to your mercy and beyond
I pray for peace all over the world
I pray for enlightenment beyond
I pray that truth prevails as it did
The end of suffering this day
I pray that this be the end of
Pain and misery of each person
Bless thy humankind this day

May this period of Lent, bring me closer to you Lord Jesus. May I be able to partake in your pain and suffering. May I learn to sacrifice things that are dear to me for the good of my lesser fortunate brothers and sisters. Our Creator, has blessed our world with everything sufficient for us. However, it is our greed for wanting of more that results in some of our brothers and sisters not having enough.

It is the period of Lent
I want to experience everything
That my mighty Lord had experienced
I want to learn from the sacrifices
That he made to redeem the love
He gave his all for the sins that perished
Oh Lord I want to spread the message of
Love and longing just like you
Show me your mercy thy Lord
So that I walk along in your
Path of enlightenment
As it's the Good Friday
I pray that all stay blessed in life!

O God who made heaven and earth, it is not difficult for you to destroy the sinners who caused so much of pain to you, their creator. Yet instead of punishing them, you loved them. Yet instead of rebuking them, you forgave them. They crucified your dear son, yet all you did was loved them even more. God, teach me to be more like you so that I too may carry on with your word of love and truth to all I meet. May no person come to me feeling closer to you that they did before they met me. I need your light to shine through me to all my brothers and sisters around me. May I learn to love even my enemies, and may I learn to give another chance to others who have wronged me. Just the way your love never falls out of chances for me no matter how many mistakes I make, may my love for you make me see you in all those I meet. Praise you Lord, thank you Lord. I say this prayer in the name of my sweet Jesus, Amen.

Dear Lord, you answer my prayers in a beautiful manner. Whenever I have asked you for something, you ensure that I receive it sooner or later, at the right time. When I have asked for something and I haven't received it, you have instead given me something better. I know that if I ever come to you, my prayers can never go unanswered. This Good Friday, I want to thank you God for your love.

I want to remember the agony and pain
That you took oh mighty Lord
You took it all in your stride
The way you sacrificed
Teaching lessons of love and peace
I pray that this mercy remains
And all the sins get ceased this day
Your kind mercy will stay along
Will make every person strong
Bless everyone oh mighty kind

Dear God, this Good Friday, I ask you the gift of innocence like that of a child, yet wisdom to judge between what is right and wrong. I ask you the gift of sensitivity towards other's problems, yet strength to stand up against those who are wrong. I ask you the gift of maturity to deal with situations without hurting anyone, yet to know how to say no when others ask me for something that is against my own happiness. I ask you the gift of ambition to always aim for the stars, yet to always learn to be happy with what I already have. I ask you the gift of love so that I may always love all your creation just the way you loved me.

Let me remember you

Almighty you gave your all
Today I stand in front of you
Because of your mercy and love
You taught the meaning of love
When peace each one could feel
You taught about the way
Forever and ever to be
I ask for blessings today
So that each soul be blessed every way

It's the holy day!

You not just created me, but also loved me and how. I have hurt you a million times by disobeying your word, by hurting your other creations, but this has never changed the way you feel about me. You just continue to love me in the same way. God my love for you too has only increased, the more I understand you. God, teach me to become more like your son Jesus Christ. Teach me to follow His word and love others around me, just the way He loved those who betrayed Him. It is not easy and I am not very strong, but You are strong God. So give me your strength. Be my rock and help me to follow your Son so that I too may be able to pass on your word to all those I meet and set an example of your grace through everything I do.
